With over 100 different heroes to choose from, you can always find your perfect fighting avatar in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang . And if you just so happen to be an animal lover, there’s a formidable menagerie here too, with many powerful animal-inspired heroes in the fray.

Here are some of our favourite Mobile Legends animal heroes. Whatever your play style, you’re going to be in good hands/paws/fangs.

Akai

Chubby panda Akai may be a jolly, friendly fellow, but he’s a force of nature thanks to his formidable crowd-control skills as a Tank. With his Headbutt skill, Akai can charge at and damage opponents, as well as send them hurtling through the air. Body Slam enables him to hit and slow down multiple foes around him, making them vulnerable to his teammates.

As well as speeding Akai up, his Heavy Spin ultimate skill will push attackers away while continuously damaging them – perfect for ambushing or disrupting enemy ranks during team fights.

The cherry on top is his passive ability Tai Chi: it gives Akai extra shield whenever he uses a skill, meaning rivals should be ready for anything when coming up against him and his friends.

Sun

When Sun is on the battlefield, he really means monkey business – this dangerous Fighter can wreak both destruction and confusion.

With skills such as Endless Variety, Swift Exchange and Clone Techniques, he can create doppelgangers of himself – enemies will become infuriated as they’re outsmarted by multiple Suns simultaneously.

On top of that, Sun’s passive ability, Simian God, lowers enemies’ defences as they’re struck by him and his doppelgangers; Sun can also recover health from his doppelgangers’ attacks. Nothing can be more fun than a barrel of monkeys!

Diggie

The adorable and diminutive Diggie can be a hoot to hang around with, and the young owl’s unique powers make him a very useful Support.

Diggie’s Auto Alarm Bomb skill enables him to set up explosive ambushes with multiple bombs, which will get stronger after hitting enemies enough times. His Reverse Time skill damages and ensnares foes, making it immensely useful when chasing down vulnerable targets.

Diggie’s ultimate skill, Time Journey, gives allies both a strong shield and immunity to crowd-control effects. Last but not least, his passive ability, Young Again, means he can still roam around the battlefield after being killed and then be resurrected wherever he wants.

Bane

Half man, half octopus, all pirate, Bane can unleash the power of the deep seas to devastating effect as a Fighter/Mage hybrid.

With his Crab Claw Cannon, he can hit multiple enemies and slow them down, making it handy for crowd control. His Ale skill both recovers health and speeds him up, enabling him to either stay longer in the fight or escape to safety.

For his ultimate skill Deadly Catch, Bane releases a dangerous school of sharks that deals massive damage over a wide area, while also sending enemies flying into the air. Time it correctly, and this can mean wiping out the whole enemy team. Even better, the more skills Bane uses, the stronger his basic attacks become thanks to the passive ability Shark Bite.

Popol and Kupa

To enemies, Kupa is a menace of fangs and fur, but to Popol he’s totally a good boy. The hunting duo’s abilities offer an interesting twist on the Marksman role, with both ranged and melee attacks plus some crowd-control capacity.

The Bite ’em, Kupa skill gives Popol the ability to throw a powerful spear at the enemy, while Kupa charges ahead and bites them. Should Popol become endangered, he can use Kupa, Help to get extra shield and slow down nearby enemies, while Kupa ferociously protects his master. Popol’s Surprise is all about ambushing, with traps that immobilise and then slow down opponents.

Ultimate skill We Are Angry makes Popol and Kupa move and attack faster, while also fully healing Kupa and transforming him into an Alpha Wolf with more health and stronger abilities. Why choose between the size of the dog in the fight or the size of the fight in the dog, when you can have both?
