Some Mobile Legends: Bang Bang heroes are the stuff of myths and legends, while others channel the extraordinary power and grace of real-life creatures. Here are some of our favourite animal-inspired characters to ever prowl the Land of Dawn – and rule the arena.

Chip

Genetically engineered sand fox Chip wields technology as a weapon to support his teammates. His attack abilities Crash Course and Overtime are mighty enough, but his ultimate ability Shortcut has the potential to transform your team’s entire strategy.

By creating portals that connect the battlefield with the main base, Chip can help his team execute surprise assaults and mass evacuations. And when he’s not busy fighting, Chip likes to munch on potato chips (hence his name!) to regenerate HP.

Akai

Akai may look like a chubby, jovial panda, but don’t let your guard down around this dangerous tank hero. His crowd-control abilities can send enemies airborne or slow them down, while his ultimate ability Heavy Spin can push back any foe he touches. Thwart an imminent attack or isolate an opponent from the rest of their team, then watch the enemy formation crumble.

Sun

The monkey-inspired Sun is designed to be a trickster fighter hero. With his abilities Endless Variety, Swift Exchange and Clone Techniques, he can create multiple doppelgangers that offer extra attack power while also confusing your opponents. And if that’s not enough, Sun’s passive ability lets him heal himself every time his doppelgangers attack.

Bane

Part human, part octopus, Bane is a terror straight from the darkest depths of the ocean. And true to his dual nature, Bane is a fighter-slash-mage hybrid hero who often combines physical and magical skills.

His Crab Claw Cannon can both damage and slow down enemies, while the Ale ability lets Bane heal himself while attacking multiple targets. With the ultimate ability Deadly Catch, he can summon a school of sharks, dealing massive damage while knocking his foes airborne.

Popol and Kupa

Popol the boy and Kupa the Icefield Dire Wolf are a dynamic duo that’s had plenty of practice working together. Their abilities such as Bite ’em, Kupa! and Kupa, Help! all focus on collaboration. When using their ultimate ability We Are Angry!, Kupa takes on his Alpha form to gain extra durability while getting a boost in his other skills too.

Diggie

Diggie the scholarly owl has an usual passion – clocks! His Auto Alarm Bomb is great for deterring enemies and setting up lethal ambushes, whereas Reverse Time is a dangerous trap that locks down an enemy for other teammates to tackle.

His ultimate ability Time Journey gives his teammates the potent combo of a powerful shield, debuff removal and crowd-control immunity. Even when knocked out, Diggie can still help: he transforms into an egg that can zoom around the battlefield, scouting the enemy while waiting to hatch again.
